WAYO Successfully Conducts April Health Check for New Students — Supporting a Safe Start to Study Abroad Life

On May 9, 2025, WAYO Japanese Language School organized a health check for new students at a designated medical institution. This health check aimed to help students understand their current physical condition and establish a basic health record, serving as an important first step in preparing for their future studies and daily life in Japan.

For many students, it was their first time undergoing a health check in Japan. More than just a routine medical exam, the experience marked a symbolic beginning of their study abroad journey in a new environment.

Faculty members from the school accompanied students throughout the entire process, providing thorough guidance from filling out medical questionnaires to navigating each examination station. Thanks to this support, students were able to complete the check smoothly and without anxiety, despite language or procedural unfamiliarity.

The health check covered a wide range of items, including height and weight measurement, blood pressure and heart rate monitoring, hearing tests, urine analysis, and chest X-rays. All examinations were conducted professionally and efficiently. Students expressed their appreciation, commenting that the process was reassuring and the staff’s approach was courteous and helpful.

WAYO Japanese Language School places great importance on the physical and mental well-being of its students. By carrying out this health check, the school reinforced its commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment, while also strengthening its system for supporting students in their daily lives.

Moving forward, WAYO will continue to monitor students’ health and enhance the quality of its support services, striving to ensure that every student enjoys a safe, fulfilling, and worry-free study abroad experience.
