A Warm Welcome Marks the Start of a Dream — July 2024 Arrival Report of New Students at Wayo Japanese Language School

To ensure that new students arrive in Japan safely and smoothly settle into their dormitories, Wayo Japanese Language School organized a careful and attentive airport pickup service on July 8, 2024. On that day, our administrative staff personally waited at Narita International Airport to warmly welcome new students arriving from various countries around the world.

Safe and Comfortable Transfer by Dedicated Bus
To help students rest as soon as possible after their long flights, the school arranged a professional bus company to provide direct transportation from Narita Airport to each student’s dormitory. This arrangement spared students from the hassle of transferring trains while carrying heavy luggage, allowing them to travel comfortably. Upon arrival at the dormitories, staff assisted with move-in procedures, helping students organize their belongings, receive their keys, and familiarize themselves with the surrounding environment.

Thoughtful Preparations for Physical and Emotional Comfort
Mindful of the fatigue and stress students may feel after a long journey, our staff also prepared light snacks and bottled water. This helped students replenish their energy promptly and ease any nervousness. Many students expressed their gratitude with comments such as:
“When I saw the teacher holding the pickup sign right at the exit, I felt very reassured.”
“It was my first time in Japan, and I was nervous, but having the teacher there made me feel truly supported.”
