Wayo Japanese Language School Holds Successful Entrance Ceremony for July 2025 Students, with Scholarship Awards and Academic/Career Guidance Sessions Conducted Concurrently
On July 11, 2025, Wayo Japanese Language Academy held the entrance ceremony for the July 2025 intake. The ceremony took place in the school’s multipurpose hall, where new students gathered together to officially begin their study-abroad journey in Japan, witnessed by teachers and current students.

Wayo Japanese Language School New Student Scholarship
During the ceremony, the school awarded scholarships to eight outstanding new students in recognition of their exceptional achievements prior to enrollment. Among the scholarship recipients were students who had obtained excellent scores in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test before arriving in Japan, as well as graduates from prestigious universities in their home countries with solid academic backgrounds and clear learning goals. Through this scholarship program, the school aims to encourage more students to set clear directions for themselves, pursue excellence, and inspire others by setting exemplary standards.

Higher Education and Career Guidance Seminar
Following the entrance ceremony, the school held an “Academic Advancement and Career Guidance Seminar” for all July new students in the afternoon. The seminar was designed to provide newly arrived students with a systematic introduction to the processes of higher education advancement and employment in Japan. Experienced instructors conducted the session, offering clear explanations about the Japanese education system, employment framework, and visa policies.

Key topics covered included:
- The application timelines and preparation process for Japanese universities and graduate schools
- When to start preparing and registering for exams, and the difficulty level of entrance tests
- The recruitment schedules and hiring mechanisms of Japanese companies
- Differences between employment types such as regular employees, contract employees, and temporary staff
- Visa categories available for foreigners working in Japan (e.g., “Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services”)
- Common employee benefits in Japanese companies, including bonuses, paid leave, and social insurance
During the seminar, instructors also shared real-life examples of previous outstanding graduates, detailing their journeys from language learning and exam preparation to successful academic advancement and employment. This helped new students better understand the direction of their efforts and the pathways to achieving their goals.
The students listened attentively, took detailed notes, and actively asked questions, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Many expressed that the seminar helped clarify their understanding of the Japanese academic and employment systems, and gave them a clearer focus for their future efforts.
Wayo Japanese Language School consistently upholds a “student-centered” educational philosophy. In addition to focusing on the quality of Japanese language education, the school places great importance on supporting students’ future academic and career development. We firmly believe that the July 2025 new students will, with the full support of Wayo, steadily achieve their study abroad goals and move toward a broader and brighter future.
