日本にほんに留学りゅうがくしたら、まずお世話おせわになる場所ばしょの一つひとつが「コンビニこんびに（コンビニエンスストアこんびにえんすすとあ）」です。日本にほんのコンビニこんびには、生活せいかつを支えるささえる便利べんりなサービスさーびすがたくさんあり、日常にちじょう生活せいかつに欠かせませんかかせません。今回こんかいは、留学生りゅうがくせいの皆さんみなさんが知ってしっておくべきおくコンビニこんびに利用りようの基本きほんと常識じょうしきをご紹介ごしょうかいします。

Studying in Japan, one of the first places you will get familiar with is the “コンビニ (convenience store)”.
Convenience stores in Japan offer a variety of useful services that support daily life and are indispensable for everyday living.
This time, we will introduce the basic rules and common knowledge about using convenience stores that international students should know.

1. 24２４時間じかん営業えいぎょうが多い

日本にほんのコンビニこんびにの多くおおくは24２４時間じかん営業えいぎょうです。昼夜ちゅうや問わずとわず、食べ物たべものや日にち用品ようひんを購入こうにゅうすることができます。夜よる遅くおそくまで勉強べんきょうした後や、急きゅうに必要ひつような物ものができた時ときにも安心あんしんです。
Most convenience stores in Japan are open 24 hours a day. No matter day or night, you can buy food and daily necessities. Whether after studying late at night or when you suddenly need something, they are very helpful.

2. 公共こうきょう料金りょうきんの支払いしはらいができる

水道すいどう・電気でんき・ガスがす・携帯けいたい電話でんわなどの公共こうきょう料金りょうきんは、コンビニこんびにで簡単かんたんに支払うしはらうことができます。請求書せいきゅうしょをレジに持ってもっていくだけでOKＯＫです。
Utility bills such as water, electricity, gas, and mobile phone charges can be easily paid at convenience stores. You just need to take the bill to the cashier — very convenient.

3. 宅配便たくはいびんやチケットサービスちけっとさーびす

荷物にもつの発送はっそうや受け取りうけとり、コンサートこんさーと・イベントいべんとのチケットちけっと購入こうにゅうもコンビニこんびにで可能かのうです。旅行りょこうや引っ越しひっこしの時ときにもとても便利べんりです。
You can send and receive parcels and also purchase tickets for concerts or events at convenience stores. They are very useful when moving or traveling.

4. ATMＡＴＭ・コピー機こぴーきの活用かつよう

コンビニこんびににはATMＡＴＭやコピー機こぴーきが設置せっちされており、銀行ぎんこうの営業えいぎょう時間外じかんがいでも現金げんきんの引き出しひきだしや振込ふりこみができます。また、書類しょるいのコピーこぴーやプリントアウトぷりんとあうとも可能かのうです。
Convenience stores are equipped with ATMs and copy machines, so you can withdraw cash or make bank transfers even outside banking hours. You can also print or copy documents.

5. マナーまなーを守るまもること

イートインスペースいーといんすぺーすを利用りようする場合ばあいは、ゴミごみの分別ぶんべつを守りまもり、他たの人ひとに迷惑めいわくをかけないよう静かしずかに食事しょくじをしましょう。アルコールあるこーるやタバコたばこを購入こうにゅうする時ときには、年齢ねんれい確認かくにんが行われるおこなわれることもあります。
When using the eat-in space, follow the garbage separation rules and eat quietly so as not to disturb others. When purchasing alcohol or tobacco, you may be asked to show proof of age.

コンビニでよく使う会話と単語

• お会計お願いします。 → I’d like to pay, please.
• 現金で払えますか。 → Can I pay in cash?
• クレジットカードは使えますか。 → Can I use a credit card?
• 袋はご利用ですか。 → Would you like a bag? (often asked by staff)
• 袋をください。 → Please give me a bag.
